Rotary water meters СВ-15Х (single-jet, dry) are intended for measurement of volume of cold potable water and delivery water coming through the pipeline at the temperature from 5˚C up to 40˚C and operating pressure of the water supply system no more than 1,0 MPa (10 kgf/cm²). Rotary water meters СВ-15Г (single-jet, dry) are intended for measurement of volume of hot water coming through the pipeline at the temperature from 5°C up to 90°C and operating pressure of water supply system no more than 1,0 MPa (10 kgf/cm²). The hot water meters can be used for cold water metering. The meters СВ-15 can be additionally equipped with a sensor (reed relay) for remote transfer of low-frequency pulses. The transfer factor (pulse value) should be indicated at the order by the consumer. It can be - 1; 10; 100; 1000 l/imp.
In case of equipping of the meters СВ with pulse sensors of any pulse value (l/imp), the marking will have “И” letter on it.
The structure and principle of operation: The principle of operation of the meter is a measurement of the number of propeller revolutions, rotating due to the flow of coming water. The water flows into the case of the meter through the inlet fitting, it passes through the filter and than goes to the measuring chamber inside which has the propeller on firm supports, the axis of the propeller has the magnet of the drive part of magnetic clutch. The water, after the measuring chamber goes to the outlet fitting of the meter. The number of the propeller revolutions is proportional to the quantity of flowing water.
Evolvent shape of internal section of the inlet and outlet fittings provides optimization of the water flow, it reduces the pressure losses. The propeller rotation is transmitted to the drive part of magnetic clutch, installed in the registration mechanism. The registration mechanism is separated from the measured medium by non-magnetic medium-dividing membrane, which is tightly fixed by a pressure nut through the sealing gaskets. The magnetic clutch is protected against external magnetic field by two antimagnetic rings. The case of the meter is connected to the registration mechanism by means of a plastic ring. The registration mechanism having scaling mechanical reducer, provides transformation of the number of the propeller revolutions to the measured water volume in m³. The display system of the registration mechanism has eight rollers and one pointer for registration of volume in m³ and its fractions. The display system of the registration mechanism has an asterisk, providing increase in the meter resolution of the meter at its checks on the devices with automatic signal pickup.
