How does the sorbent works. Dissolved metal ions transforms into insoluble hydroxide and sediments on surface of granules. Solute oil holds up on surface of granules because of electrostatic attraction (surface of granules has positive charge). When filtration cycle is finished, we can remove assembled in filter dust. Filter unloading carries out with clean water. At the time of filter operation granules surface activity might be increased. In order to revivify surface activity, filter with sorbent must be treated with 3-4% solution (magnesium sulfate MgSO4 x 7H2O or soda Na2CO3 x 10H2O).
