Description

The Leipzig Fair is one of the oldest inthe world - and at the same time one of the youngest and most modern. The futuristic-looking Exhibition Centre only opened in 1996, with itsfascinating steel and glass architecture symbolising transparency and acosmopolitan outlook. What has been created here is the outcome of longyears of experience with fairs, bringing together both tradition andthe future. Optimum infrastructure combines with an architecturalexperience.

The motto of today's Leipzig Fair is "More Market". This means tailor-made trade fair concepts, precisely devised to meet the needs of exhibitors and visitors, together with an all-in single-source service approach. The customer can use subsidiary and partner companies to book an "all-inclusive" package - from concept to stand installation, catering and travel services and realisation at the fair.

The Fair in Leipzig is one of Eastern Germany's success stories after German reunification in 1990. The building of the trade fair complex was one of the biggest investment projects in the new federal states.

At the latest after the recent relocations of car manufacturing giants Porsche and BMW, the Leipzig location has finally moved on from being an insider tip to an unmistakeably cutting-edge business centre for the all-German market.

The Leipzig Fair stabilises its business in various ways: well-established themes are expanded, the development of new business trends are reflected in new fairs and parallel to that, conference business is also encouraged. Successful themes in Leipzig include cars and transport, books and new media, building and heritage conservation, environment, medicine and consumer goods
