Advantages of the Berlin Exhibition Grounds
1. A total indoor display area of 160,000 m² is available in
26interconnected exhibition halls. Visitors can tour the trade
eventswithout being exposed to inclement weather. The exhibition area
can beconsolidated for one large event or easily divided into separate
zonesfor several trade shows running simultaneously. A versatile
guidancesystem directs crowds to the appropriate areas.
2. Arrivingvisitors can be directed to the different main entrances:
Forlarge-scale events, crowds are diverted to the south, north and
eastentrance areas.
3. Virtually all halls can be accessed atground level by delivery
vehicles with up to 8 t axle loads. Thispractically eliminates the need
for freight elevators - which savesexhibitors time and money.
4. Raised floors and conduitnetworks in the halls used for massive
displays ensure low-costconnections to water, electricity and digital
communications lines atall points throughout the halls. This
facilitates uncomplicated,versatile stand planning.
5. Over 2,400 m of rail tracks andthe relevant infrastructure are
available on the exhibition grounds forpresenting rail vehicles.
6. The "Sommergarten" - a 10,000 m²centrally-located, landscaped open
area, is directly accessible fromall exhibition hall passageways.
7. Exhibitor service center,restaurants and catering, offices and related services are allconveniently located for exhibitors.
8. The Berlin ExhibitionGrounds are directly connected to the ICC
Berlin, Europe's largestcongress centre ensuring ideal conditions for
combining trade showswith congress events and conventions.
9. Ideal connections toone of the world's best public transport systems
ensures quick,comfortable and stress-free arrival. For example, the
S-Bahn (rapidrail transit) departs every 10 minutes from Berlin´s
central station"Zoologischer Garten" to the rapid rail station "Messe
Süd". Traveltime: 10-minutes.
10. Centrally-located in Berlin, theexhibition grounds are directly
connected via autobahn to the city'sthree international airports.
Parking for a total of 12,000 vehicles isavailable including 2,000
spaces for exhibitor parking directly on theexhibition grounds. Taxi
stands are located at all entrances.
