| Description |
Tripoli International Fair is situated on Omar Muktar street, Tripoli,
on an area of land of more of 90000 square meters, 40000 of which are
covered stands and the remainder is uncovered space
Tripoli International Fair is one of the active members of the Global
Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) which is located in
the French capital; Paris
UFI holds its annual meetings in accordance which are hosted by one of
it members. One of the UFI's duties is to offer consulting services to
its members and also to coordinate between the members who are
organisers of International Fairs
Tripoli International Fair exchanges trade event materials and
co-operates extensively with other members of UFI
Annually, the Tripoli International Fair is organised during the spring
period from 2 to 12 April. Participation averages around 30 countries
as well as more than 2000 companies and organisations. The fair is an
international, industrial, agricultural and commercial event.
The fair consists of three offices
i1. Technical Office
i2. Exhibitions Office
i3. The Managerial and Finance Office
During the period of the fair there are many festivals in which Libyan
folklore bands and other international bands participate accompanied by
music and singing .
The fair also includes a funfair for children's use. The fair, in
addition to different stands, also includes an industrial area in which
heavy equipment and machinery are displayed .
Tripoli International Fair also offers comprehensive services to the
international exhibitors and guests of Jamahiriya throughout the period
of the fair. The most important services which are provided by the fair
are: Electricity, Water, Hotel reservations, Visa invitations, Media,
Advertising and assistance in contacting Libyan companies
