SMG manages, operates and maintains the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado on behalf of the City and County of Denver.

The Colorado Convention Center is one of the most practical and "user friendly" meeting facilities ever built. More than 100 professional meeting planners worked with the architects to design every aspect of the building. The result? A simple, sensible, state-of-the-art facility with easy traffic flow and everything you need ...all in a stunningly beautiful building in the heart of exciting downtown Denver.
The exhibit level offers 584,000 square feet of contiguous space that can be divided into six individual halls; it also provides outdoor terraces accenting extraordinary views of the Rocky Mountains and Denver skyline.
There are 63 meeting rooms, totaling 100,000 square feet, all on one level. A total of 85,000 square feet of hotel quality ballroom space is also available. A 35,000 square foot ballroom that is divisible in half or thirds, and a 50,000 square foot ballroom that is divisible into eighteen individual meeting rooms or literally hundreds of possible configurations.
A highlight of the convention center is the 5,000 seat theatre, known as the Lecture Hall. It is designed to be muti-functional for use as a lecture hall or general session area for conventions and tradeshows, a concert hall for national headline entertainers and can easily host comedy or family shows. The room can be divided into three separate rooms to allow for concurrent sessions.
Another highlight of the facility is the new Light Rail Train Station located under the attached 1,000 space parking garage. Each amenity provides greater access and options for our commuting public. The Parking Garage provides greeters on each floor who assist parking patrons with credit card transactions and directions to their event destination; it also boasts a bridged walkway to the Denver Performing Arts Complex.
The Colorado Convention Center is located within easy walking distance of over 7,000 hotel rooms, and it is also within safe walking distance of 300 restaurants, nine theatres of the Denver Performing Arts Complex and a wide variety of shopping opportunities.
