The AUD $127 million Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre(GCCEC) officially opened on 29 June 2004, providing the Gold Coastwith its first and Queensland with its third convention centre.
Conveniently located in the heart of the Gold Coast, the GCCEC featuresa Main Arena, Exhibition Halls, and Meeting Rooms catering for 10 to6000 people.
It is Australia’s largest regional convention centre, capable ofhandling corporate and association conferences and meetings, nationaland international incentives, banquets, exhibitions, concerts, sportingand special events.
Exclusive in size and purpose-designed, the GCCEC is the onlyconvention centre in Australia to offer total wireless technologyallowing delegates and visitors to log on to email and the internetfrom whereever they are in the venue.
We also offer on-site catering that is HACCP compliant and multi-awardwinning audio-visual services by industry leaders Staging Connections,as wll as in-house marketing and public relations support andprofessional event management.
Awarded Caterer of the Year two years running (2005 & 2006) by theRestaurant and Caterers of Australia, and Event of the Year 2004 byMeetings & Events Australia, the GCCEC delivers supreme service andfacilities to ensure every event is a success!
