Description
Situated directly opposite ICC Durban, the Durban Exhibition Centre is a world class multi-purpose
exhibition, function and conference centre.
The DEC's venues are designed to provide maximum comfort and flexibility. Two large halls offer a
combined space of 9600m2 while several smaller halls, luxury suites and catering facilities are also
available. The DEC also offers 20 000m2 of plazas and gardens which are suitable for outdoor events
and conference parking.
Hall 1
This venue consists of 6000m2 exhibition space. It can be linked to Hall 2 for increased capacity.
Hall 2
This 3600m2 exhibition area is column-free, and can be used in its entirety, or subdivided into three independent venues.
In addition to an Organizer's Office and VIP suite, Hall 2's gallery consists of four booths, which can each accommodate two people for press interviews or private viewing.
Smaller venues, which cater for between 20 and 370 people, are available in the Coast of Dreams, Mystrals and Hall 6. These venues are suitable for a number of purposes, including meetings, breakaway sessions, cocktail parties etc.
