For
almost 100 years, Fredericia has been synonymous with trade fairs and
exhibitions for millions of Danes. Yet, Whilewhile main roads,
motorways and railway services are “on the doorstep”, most people have
only seen the city from the window of a car or train. However, when an
exhibition or trade fair is being held, the city swarms with people in
their thousands. This is also important for business in Fredericia –
for hotels, restaurants, taxi services, petrol stations, etc., and
those who are either complete or partial suppliers of services and
products for the exhibition centre and its exhibitors.
Fredericia
as such – and in particular the ramparts – is definitely worth a visit,
but the Fredericia Exhibition & Conference Centre continues to be
the enterprise that attracts most business people to the town. This is
why we can rightfully refer to the city as “Fredericia – exhibition
venue”.
