Description
Saku Arena which opened in November 2001, is the largest universal arena in Estonia. Its four levels total 13,220 m2 in area and can accommodate up to 10,000 spectators; 7,200 of them in seats. Approximately 300 events (incl. 70 major public events) are organised here every year, attracting a total of 200,000 visitors. The arena is administered and managed by AS Rocca al Mare Suurhall, whose owners are OÜ Pivotal (67%), the Republic of Estonia (24.3%), the City of Tallinn (8.6%) and minority shareholders (0.1%).
Since 2002 Saku Arena is a member of European Arenas Associaton (EAA). The EAA represents 23 prestigious arenas in 19 European countries. Covered, multifunctional arenas, which have a seating capacity of at least 8.000 and maintain a high quality standard in all areas.
