India develops its security potential

26 September 2007
CMP Information and CMP Asia are delighted to announce the launch of two brand new events developed specifically for India and the neighboring regions: IFSEC India and Internal Security. Taking place from 25-27 October 2007, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India, IFSEC India and Internal Security will cater for a worldwide audience of security buyers and specifies, and cover all aspects of the security market, including the police and paramilitary sectors.

The Indian security market is estimated to be worth in excess of US$500 million and industry experts estimate that this is growing at around 30% per year. The market is particularly unique due to the lack of old legacy security systems in operation.

Internal Security 2007 is the only event of its kind dedicated to the police industry. With the police modernization program taking place in India, covering 7 paramilitary forces and 30 state police departments and with a budget of $900 million, the event is the ideal place to bring together leading suppliers and senior decision makers from across the industry.

The events will combine IFSEC’s 35 years of experience in the security industry, and CMP Asia’s knowledge of the local market to provide an event that will cater for the needs of security professionals throughout the South Asian region. As well as numerous feature areas within the exhibitions, both shows will also include a comprehensive educational program with a host of free seminar sessions and a conference covering the hottest security topics from a variety of angles.
