Fish world to meet in Bremen

28 September 2007
FISH International 2008 is set to take centre stage in Bremen, Germany next February, with Poland announced as the fair partner country. The East-West Forum will convey insights into the requirements of the new markets and at the same time take a close look at technical solutions and innovations in the fish-processing sector.

Questions, including: ‘What organisational structures exist in community catering in Poland?; What are the requirements of the Polish grocery sector?; and Which packaging will give me a competitive advantage? will be posed at the event. In accordance with the motto “only together are we strong”, the fair organisers have placed clear focus on cooperation. In collaboration with strong partners, MGH is organising lectures and discussions on the topics that move the fish industry.

In addition, there will be the catering forum and the frozen fish forum be looking at successful fish concepts in the out-of-home market. Due to its central location, Fish International is an ideal location for decision-makers from Eastern Europe to congregate. Poland will present itself at Fish International together with the Association of Polish Fish Importers, the Polish fish trade journal ‘Magazyn Przemyslu Rybnego’, and the Development and Promotion Organisation of the Polish Fish Industry.

The fair for fish and seafood is set to take place next year for the eleventh time. Fish international 2008 will take place from February 10-12, 2008 in the Bremen Exhibition Centre.
