Expecting winter in the SNOW SHOW way

28 September 2007
The 16th SNOW SHOW with its genuine carnival atmosphere – held between 9-12 November in the HUNGEXPO Budapest Fair Center - is definitely the place to go for those looking forward to winter. This major international event of winter sports will be expecting visitors on almost 6200 sqm with 186 exhibitors from 10 countries including Hungary, a broad range of products and travel opportunities, exciting accompanying events, champions on stage, and 20 tons of snow coming straight from Sölden, Austria.

The SNOW SHOW and the Spa & Wellness health tourism exhibition will be held simultaneously for the first time this year. The major skiing areas of Europe will be represented by 30% more foreign exhibitors than last time. This year’s special guest, Poland’s Lower Silesia province, as well as Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia will be offering a wide scope of programmes both for professional and beginner skiers and snowboarders on their popular and less well-known skiing resorts.

Lower Silesia, this Polish province with unique natural features will present itself as the special guest of the 16th SNOW SHOW. Apart from the multitude of ski runs, visitors can also find out about the diversity of the scenery, the unique natural features of the region, the romantic mountain ranges and national parks of the Sudetes, and the centuries-old monuments in and near Wrocław, the capital city of the province.

At this year’s SNOW SHOW visitors can chose a destination and straight afterwards take out comprehensive insurance to protect themselves as well as their equipment. The insurance company UNIQA will be presenting an insurance offer developed especially for the needs of winter sports fans. What is new in “Super G+” is that it covers you not only for injuries and damage to equipment but also for theft of your gear and also offers assistance service to those travelling by car.
