Macef: attendance results are good

 The Macef International Home Show closes the doors of the Autumn edition with a positive result (+3,1%), which includes an even more appreciable increase in the number of foreign visitors (+7,5%). Sandro Biocchi, President and Managing Director of Fiera Milano International, says: “We are at a turning point. The slight decrease in the space occupied by the show is compensated for by an improvement in the ratio of visitors to exhibitors. MACEF remains one of the shows of reference in the sector worldwide. The September 2007 edition is the starting point for the international relaunch of our historic show, and demonstrates that the strategy undertaken by Fiera Milano International is able to improve on companies’ expectations. We are now sure that companies will want to continue playing this important match with us”. The next World’s largest and highest quality exhibition for gifts and houseware items will be held once again in Milano, 18-21 of January, 2008. The event will offer a fresh interpretation of the world of cutlery, ceramics, crystal and the kitchen. However, the major new feature of this trail is the brilliant treatment of silverware.
