GIBTM 2008 will partner MPI for the first Gulf Meetings and Events Conference. Exhibition and exhibition business news for Ukraine and all over the world

Gulf Incentive, Business Travel & Meetings Exhibition (GIBTM) taking place from 8-10 April 2008 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Company Centre (ADNEC) has partnered with Meetings Professionals International (MPI) for the inaugural Gulf Meetings and Events Conference.

The Gulf Meetings and Events Conference, created and delivered by MPI will take place in Dubai on 5-6 April just prior to GIBTM 2008. Delegates attending the Gulf Meetings and Events Conference will be transferred to GIBTM 2008 in Abu Dhabi on Monday 7 April. Both events will, for the first time, create a week dedicated to providing a focus for the industry sector by delivering an educational, business and networking opportunity for the Gulf region.

The Conference brings the global strength of MPI by providing two intense days of education that will identify what the meeting professional, and those starting out in the sector, need in order to be successful today and tomorrow. This will be followed by GIBTM, which in its second year, will welcome more than 250 exhibiting companies and will provide the business platform for venues, hotels, destinations and suppliers to meet with regional and international buyers. At the same time, the education will continue with a daily seminar programme for those at all levels of the industry as well as networking opportunities throughout the event.
