UFI 75th Congress will be in Istanbul

 UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, will organize its 75th Congress on 12-15 November 2008 in Istanbul, hosted by HKF Trade Fairs. UFI, promotes, serves and represents the trade fair industry worldwide. Via its member organisations, including the world's leading show organizers and fairground operators, professional associations and industry partners, UFI is present in more than 80 countries covering 6 contients.
As per November 2007 UFI has more than 440 members of which 17 members are from Turkey. The members of UFI are responsible for the management and operation of over 4.500 exhibitions.
On 15-16 March 2007, UFI's Execute Committee, Board of Directors and the European Chapter members meetings were held in Istanbul. Hosted by our company HKF Trade Fairs, approximately 100 guests including their partners attended these meetings and left Istanbul with fulfilled impressions.
350 delegates and approximately 150 partners are expected to append the 75th UFI CONGRESS, which will be organized in the Ceylan Intercontinental Hotel in Istanbul. The Host Organisation of the 75th UFI CONGRESS will be the company HKF Trade Fairs and the Delegees will be welcomed by the Mayor of Istanbul, Mr. Kadir Topbas, and by the President of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Murat Yalçintas.
UFI's Congresses have always been organised in metropolitian cities. Thanks to the 75th UFI CONGRESS, Istanbul will have the chance to show CEO's from around the world the opportunities of the city and the country.
