| The Kyiv International SIA'2008 Motor Show will happen on May 22 through 25. |

 On February 29, 2008, the Ukrainian News press center hosted a press conference dedicated to the 16th Kyiv International SIA'2008 Motor Show.
This year, the national motor show welcomes motor enthusiasts and media executives on May 22 - 25. When meeting the media, the SIA organizers made an official statement - the 16th Motor Show will get a new standard in terms of quality. The speed of development of the national motor vehicle manufacture as well as the appointment of new top managers to the staff of exhibition organizers - Ukrautoprom and Autoexpo are indisputable preconditions of these changes.
Michael Reznik, President of Ukrautoprom Association of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers, informed: "SIA is a "grown-up project" rising to a new stage of development. Since this year, the motor show claims for yearly official international status (Editorship's note - the annual inclusion of the Kyiv SIA Motor Show in OICA calendar of the worldwide motor shows amongst Geneva, Paris and other events guarantees the official international status). In turn, it is a great responsibility before the world community in general and before the international motor vehicle manufacturers in particular".
"We are absolutely confident that the 16th SIA'2008 Motor Show would offer a new high-standard product to both the attendees and the exhibitors of the show", - Alexander Haraschenko, the newly appointed Director General of Autoexpo, assured. "Since 1993, SIA is a major automotive holiday of Ukraine. We must merge the spirit of Ukraine's Nationwide Automotive Holiday of previous years and the advantages of the up-to-date International Exhibition Centre at Levoberezhna, which is a ground capable to arrange the show of cars in conformity to recent requirements and regulations. The meaning of spectacle at the Kyiv Motor Show will be principal always."
