New exhibition and convention center for Warsaw

25 June 2008
Work on the first stage of the new Warsaw trade fair and congress center - MT Polska, which is set to open later in this year - is well underway.

The center, owned by International Trade Fair Polska and the Marsa Park company, is being constructed on a 2,75-ha site on the right bank of the Vistula River, which divides Warsaw.

The first stage will consist of a 10'000 square metre hall, underground and surface parking, a café and a medical service unit. With 30'000 square metres of exhibition halls, 8'000 square metres of office space with conference rooms and 1'500 parking spaces in the center will be perfectly located for trade fairs, concerts, conferences, conventions, presentations, balls, banquets, sport events and even film productions.

The project is also underway to develop 40'000 square metres of the remaining section of the property into a hotel complex with 150 rooms.
