Two-day extravaganza for seniors
25 October 2007
October 28 to 29: The South West Senior Expo 2007 is a two day extravaganza not to be missed by the over 50s around the region. The free event is to be held at the South West Sports Centre, Bunbury, Australia. With around 8 000 people through the doors last year numbers are expected to reach new record heights of more than 10 000 this year. There’s been an increase from 75 up to 100 exhibitors displaying their goods and services plus giving useful information for seniors. The expo offers a chance for socialising and is packed with fun and entertainment such as live music and competitions. It is also a great place to find information, Seniors Recreational Council South West president Merv Mancer said the expo can help explain to seniors how to get certain entitlements as many are not aware of how to receive their full benefits. Both regional hospitals will have displays at the expo and Edith Cowan will be holding medical risk checks. Source: www.bunbury.yourguide.com.au.
