14th International Trade Fair for Pharmaceuticals and Related Products

19 October 2007
23-26 October 2007: Sports Complex Olympiisky will host the leading international trade fair for pharmaceuticals and related products in Russia Anteka. Its first edition took place in 1993 with approximately 100 exhibitors and 5,000 visitors. Since then Anteka has been Russia's leading platform for the pharmaceutical industry. Anteka Moscow 2006 welcomed 430 exhibitors and 28,400 visitors.

Trade visitors represent all management levels of pharmaceutical companies, medical engineers and cosmetic specialists, doctors, pharmacists, hospital staff and management as well as the general public.

A trend in the last years shows more attention on medical equipment and equipment and furniture for stores and shops. Russian pharmacies face a change of concept from drug distributors to the more enhanced selling point for wellness and healthcare products. This change is well known in Europe and offers increasing potential for international suppliers.

The Pharmaceutical Ingredients Exhibition was first introduced in response to the increased demand for raw materials, substances and intermediates. Production of pharmaceutical raw materials in Russia is limited and international pharmaceutical companies increasingly decide not to only import their products to Russia, but to set up production facilities in Russia. Therefore demand and interest for this sector is rapidly growing.

At Anteka producers and sellers as well as buyers and visiting professionals meet one another to establish new contacts, finalise contracts, and present the latest products.
