The first international conference on agriculture and food industry in Almaty

Central Asian international conference on agriculture and food industry AgriCA 2007 will take place October 30-31 in Almaty. “The purpose of the conference being organized for the first time is discussion of urgent questions in agriculture, adjustment of business contacts between interested parties at the intergovernmental level and in business circles,” international exhibition company ITE Group Plc, its exclusive partner in Kazakhstan, underlines in the press release of exposition organizers distributed Wednesday. The press release indicates that the World Bank, the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, Islamic Bank of Development, Bank of Development of Kazakhstan, the Asian Bank of Development, administration of Kazakhstan oblasts, marketing agency at the Ministry of Agriculture of Holland, German business - club in Kazakhstan and a number of other organizations and companies are going to attend the exposition. The forum will cover the following issues: harmless technologies, biotechnologies, hygiene in food manufacture, land reclamation, protection of an environment, branch chemicalixation, means of pest control and illnesses of agricultural crops and others. Official support to the conference is provided by the Ministries of Agriculture of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, the ministry of rural, water management and processing industry of Kyrgyzstan, and Almaty akimat.
