Uganda: Trade Fair Exhibitors Peak At 832

The number of exhibitors at the 15th Uganda Manufacturers' Association Trade Fair has risen from the expected 800 to more than 830, an official said. The Chairman of the UMA marketing Sub Committee, Mr Patel Ramanlal told Daily Monitor in an interview over the weekend that the turn up was impressive. "The number of the exhibitors has been increasing each passing day and the UMA committee is so happy about the turn up this year," Mr Ramanlal said. Hundreds of visitors are seen going out with home appliances and other items being sold at discounted rates. According to the UMA records, the number of visitors on the third day peaked 25,000.
