4th International food industry exhibition was held in Georgia. Exhibition and exhibition business news for Ukraine and all over the world

October, 6: 4th Georgian International Food Industry Exhibition InterFood Georgia 2007 finished its work in Tbilisi, in Sheraton Metechi Palace Hotel. The exhibition was lasted for three days, from 4th till 6th of October. InterFood Georgia was included in to series of food industry exhibitions, among which branch exhibitions in CIS countries. The organisers of the exhibition are the British exhibition company ITE Group Plc and its partner in Georgia – company ITECA Kavkasia Ltd, which became a member of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry - UFI. The exhibition InterFood Georgia 2007 was held with officially support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia.

During three days companies presented to the attention of visitors their production and services in the following sectors: ingredients and food additives; fish and sea products; milk products, ice-cream; fat-and-oil products; soft drinks; confectionery; tea and coffee; packages and packing equipment; gaging equipment and etc.

The exhibition InterFood Georgia 2007 is a important event for development of food industry and agriculture of the country. These are the fields where Georgia has great potential and the interest of foreign companies in gaining positions on Georgian market is not accidental. The mentioned exhibition that has already become a tradition seems to be the implementer and mediator in establishment of wishful business-contacts and in drawing of investments.

One of the main goals of the exhibition InterFood Georgia 2007 is to promote contribution in development of the country’s food industry and agriculture sector. These are the fields where Georgia has great potential and the interest of foreign companies in gaining positions on Georgian market is not accidental. The exhibitions also contributed attraction of foreign investments in local production development, establishment of wishful business-contacts.

During three days of working, the exhibition received more than 5 000 visitors. The exhibition offered the opportunity to become acquainted with products offered by the participant companies, the latest technologies and methods of production, establish desirable business-contacts with foreign, as well as local manufacturers of this branch of industry.
