Lineapelle: The world of leather guide

 16-18 October, 2007: The International exhibition of leather, accessories, components, synthetics and models for footwear, leather goods, garments and furniture LINEAPELLE will be held in Italy. The Started in 1981, LINEAPELLE is the most important international exhibition dedicated to leather, accessories, components, synthetics and models for footwear, leather goods, garments and furniture. It is conducted twice a year in Bologna, Italy. Three-day event consists of many interesting shows and competitions. The most well-known is YOUNG DESIGNERS COMPETITION - 205 participants, from 39 institutes of 23 Countries. More than 120 projects of footwear, 54 manufactured article of leather goods and design objects, 31 articles of clothing realized or designed. A distinctive feature of LINEAPELLE during its development has been the constant leadership in style and quality innovation, which makes it an essential tool for the world buyers of top range products. Over the years, the exhibition has become the key reference for world-known designers, who have brought the samples offered in the exhibitions at the core of their new collections. LINEAPELLE now attracts about 50 thousand small- and medium-sized companies working in the leather sector worldwide, accounting for an annual turnover of 80 billion Euros.
