Expo to highlight women in business

04 October 2007
An Expo in the Shire of Cardinia will recognise the work of businesswomen in Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs. The Women Making It Work Network, which meets monthly to network and help develop business skills, will hold the Showcasing local Business Expo on 20 October at Pakenham’s Cardinia Cultural Centre.

The Women Making It Work Network has a strong membership base of many businesswomen from the Casey and Cardinia region.  They meet on a monthly basis, promoting training, marketing and networking events that help each of our businesses to grow. The expo will be free of charge to the community with family entertainment and plenty of giveaways.

ANZ Bank spokeswoman Debbie Kennedy, whose bank sponsors the network, said the bank was proud to be involved with the group and the expo. “The ANZ Bank has a tradition of encouraging local businesspeople and entrepreneurs to excel and we are thrilled to be able to continue our sponsorship of the Women Making It Work Network,” she said.
