Iran holds trade expo in Cameroon

30 Sep - A large number of Iranian companies have attended Iran's industrial and trade exhibition that is held in an industrial city in Cameroon.

The exhibition, which opened on September, 30 displays Iran's latest industrial products as well as such everyday items as tires, detergents, furniture, carpets, handicrafts, foodstuff and building materials.

Mohammad Reza Ramezani, Secretary-general of Iran's Chamber of Cooperatives, said that Iranian firms could consider Africa as a suitable market for their products.

Iranian companies can contribute to the promotion of the country's non-oil exports through efforts to increase the volume of their trade exchanges with developing African states, he noted.
