Bigger and better!

28 September 2007
The world’s postal industry will assemble in Barcelona from 2 to 4 October this year for the 11th annual POST-EXPO, the exhibition and World Postal Business Forum that is dedicated to postal operating technologies and services. The three-day event annually attracts more than 4,000 top-level personnel from approximately 100 countries and is universally recognised as the world’s premier event for the postal, mailing and parcel industries.

Over 150 exhibitors will display their latest products in fields such as RFID, automation, security, address management, transportation and tracking technology. Sister event Courier and Parcel Logistics Expo and its conference will highlight additional companies that cater to the evergrowing courier and express parcel distribution aspect of the industry.

POST-EXPO 2007 has attracted such industry heavyweights as Siemens, Pitney Bowes, Lockheed Martin, Wincor Nixdorf and Böwe Bell+Howell. Over 50 first-time exhibitors will line up next to them in the 13,000m2 hall. In addition to new faces, POST-EXPO will play host to a wide range of new technologies.

The World Postal Business Forum and Technology Workgroups are packed full of essential information. An intensive programme of conferences, organised in conjunction with the Universal Postal Union, will be opened by José Damián Santiago Martín, president of Correos Spain, and Edouard Dayan, director general of the UPU.
