Ausmarine Conferences revamped

25 February 2008
The AUSMARINE Conferences have been revamped to give delegates more in-depth and focused information of the Australian maritime industry. Previously held as a single conference spanning across the general aspects of the Australian maritime industry, the new format of AUSMARINE 2008 will offer two special conferences.

The World Passenger Vessel Market conference will highlight the string of new orders benefiting builders in Australia, Singapore, Norway and Italy. After a quiet decade, the market seems to be reviving and the conference will address the issue that it is time for those involved to dive into the current strong market.

The World Patrol, Assault and Rescue Craft Market conference will lead an informative discussion on whether the patrol, assault and rescue craft market is due for a slow down or correction after five years of boom.

Priced at A$1,050, delegates have the freedom to customise their programmes according to their interests, as the fee allows them to participate in both or any part of the conferences and associated product presentation seminars as they choose. Each conference will run for 1 1/2 days.

In addition, a number of leading commentators and suppliers to the industry have been invited to conduct one-hour product presentation seminars in association with the event. Most importantly, admission to these product presentations seminars is FREE.AUSMARINE 2008 will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre from November 11-13, 2008.
