Conference on Tourism Development to be held alongside MITT 2008

 ITE and Strategy Partners agreed to join forces in organising a conference as part of the MITT trade show: Tourism Industry 2008. Russian Regions — New Opportunities for Tourism Development. The Conference will be held within the 15th Moscow International Travel & Tourism exhibition, one of the world's most influential exhibitions serving the travel and tourism industry. The exhibition will be held on March, 19-22 in Moscow. Conference topics: • Main trends of tourism development — Russia and the World • Best practices: from developing the strategy to attracting investment • Improving competitiveness in the tourism business Russia stands as one of the most promising tourist markets in the world, having vast potential for rapid growth in outbound, inbound and local tourism. Understanding the opportunities, developing growth strategies and setting investment priorities will help Russian regions and business community to define their place in the growing market. The conference is scheduled to take place on March 20th, 2008 at the conference hall of Pavilion 8, Expocentr, Moscow. Staging an exhibition and a conference as a combined event gives a unique opportunity to arrange meetings at the exhibition and at the same time discuss the sector’s development scenarios at the conference.
