FPCCI to participate in India Trade Fair 2007

Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) would participate in the India Trade Fair 2007 to be held in New Delhi this year.
According to a statement issued by FPCCI here on Wednesday said that the Pakistani business community would participate in the trade fair with a view to give exposure to indigenous and traditional products in different countries of the world and to promote their exports.
Elaborating the working plan of participation Farooq Ahmed Sheikh, Chairman FPCCI Standing Committee on “Fairs & Exhibition and Delegations” has said that FPCCI has reserved 600 square meters of prominent space for Pakistan pavilion where Pakistani manufacturers, exporters and traders will be accommodated for displaying their products.
FPCCI desired that craftsmanship of Pakistani artisans and their potential should be displayed with full force in this mega event.
On the desire of many companies from interior of four provinces and keeping in view of present conditions developed due to heavy rain fall FPCCI has extended the date for submitting applications for participation in IITF till July 15, detailed information about participation, stall rent and terms & conditions can be obtained from Fairs & Exhibition deptt of FPCCI Head Office in Clifton Karachi.
Mr. Farooq reminded the participants that only applications routed through FPCCI will be given priority in getting stall space in Pakistani pavilion and other applicants may get space subject to availability any where but not in Pakistan pavilion.
