2008 Savour food & wine Show

11 January 2008
Savour, the biggest food and wine show east of Montreal, will take place in Halifax on February 28, 2008.  “If last year is any indication, we expect that the 2008 Savour food & wine Show will sell out very quickly,” says Gordon Stewart, executive director of the Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia (RANS). “The show has grown over the past five years…people know what Savour is and are excited by the quality and selection of products we have here in Nova Scotia.”

This year’s show will be held at The Westin Nova Scotia on February 28. Savour is the main event of the Savour food & wine Festival. Throughout the month of February, restaurant and industry suppliers across the province will host a variety of food and wine related activities. Wine and cheese tastings, beer seminars and cooking lessons are just a few events to look forward to during February.

The Savour food & wine Festival is presented by the Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia. RANS was established in 1947 to positively affect change by identifying and addressing relevant issues to improve the operating environment of the restaurants and food service establishments in Nova Scotia.
